Search tips — and what to do if you can’t find it

Words can be in any order — beam 230 finds “230W 7R Beam”. Add 16ch for a channel count, mfg:chauvet for a brand, type:hid for lamp type. Channel and type filters apply to fixtures already in the Flow Library, which shows them up front; for everything else the channel count is checked in step 2.

Can’t find it by name? Budget fixtures are often the same light sold under several brands, so the name on the box may not exist in GDTF. Search a description instead (“mini moving head”, “par 64”) and match on channel count. Or browse the Flow Library directly — it’s instant.

2 · Confirm & request

Make sure this is your light, then pick the DMX mode that matches how it's set (check the fixture's menu or DIP switches — the channel count must line up). We'll fetch the GDTF, convert it into a VFLOW profile, and send it for a quick review. Once approved it appears on your VFLOW under SETUP → + FROM LIBRARY — just tap refresh.
