Updating VFLOW

VFLOW updates itself over Wi-Fi. There is nothing to download and no cable.

  1. Connect VFLOW to Wi-Fi under SETTINGS → NETWORK.
  2. Go to SETTINGS → UPDATES and tap CHECK FOR UPDATES.
  3. If a newer version is offered, tap install and wait. It restarts on its own.

Your patch, scenes and settings are all kept across an update. If an update does not start cleanly the unit rolls itself back to the previous firmware automatically.

VERSE Downloads

Current firmware and documentation for VERSE. Firmware v1.4, released August 2026 — adds plain-English fault diagnosis, RDM control and signal timing analysis.

Updating VERSE Firmware

No tools and no disassembly — VERSE presents itself as a USB drive.

  1. Download the .uf2 file above.
  2. On VERSE, go to Settings → Firmware and confirm.
  3. Connect USB-C. VERSE appears as a drive named RPI-RP2.
  4. Copy the .uf2 onto that drive. VERSE restarts on its own when the copy finishes.

Settings, scenes and recordings are all kept across an update.

If you change your mind: the screen stays dark in update mode and the power button will not respond. Unplug USB and hold the power button for ten seconds to return without loading a file.
